Day 21 - Olympic National Park

Image
So I somehow forgot to post the final Olympic National Park stuff. Who knew. Okay so I took a few small hikes near the top and unfortunately by the time I got back to my original hiking area the parking areas were packed and was unable to do other hikes. But all and it was fun end to my day. Day 20 - North Cascades National Park

Image
First off just driving to North Cascades is something else. They do not call it the Cascades Loop for nothing. Amazing vistas on all of it. Now I only will have seen just under 3/4 of the loop. Check it out here https://www.cascadeloop.com/. But what I saw was amazing. Methow Valley and the Cascades are just glorious. The Columbia River winding its way up to the Methow all just beautiful. But overall it was a pleasant trip. Second trail was Pyramid Lake. All Trails describes it as a ' Discover this 3.9-mile out-and-back trai...

I know you all are thinking I just fell off the face of the earth. But no I still exist. I am writing up a short summary of the two days of travel and work I did.  After Great Basin I drove to an AirBNB in Twin Falls ID, The next morning my shoulder really hurt so I decided not to do the state park nearby and made an executive adventure decision. Boise, ID was on the route and it had a fancy new Regal Theater showing Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. So yes I drove almost two hours for a movie lol. From there I made it to my hotel for some much needed downtime. I also got lucky and they served a good breakfast so I was able to eat breakfast and work for several hours the morning of the 3rd before heading out to my next stop. This was a planned morning work day to get some July stuff done.  Next stop was Winthrop WA. I literally had NO clue about this town. I picked it totally on cheap airbnb for a nights rest. While the AirBNB, Mountain Hostel, was okay, the town wa...
