Day 3 - Cadillac Sunrises and Schoodic Penninsula
The rain started today but it wasn't bad. I moved around stuff when I saw the storms were coming, this included putting two days of riding stuff into one day. I decided to move my Schoodic trip up a day hoping that maybe the incoming storm would have made the waves crash more but alas it was not to be. I also made sure I woke up early and headed to Cadillac Mountain for sunrise.
This was one of the coolest things I have done here in Acadia. It is just so gorgeous.
After a wonderful breakfast again I headed over to Schoodic. I made a first stop at the Point to check it out. It was neat but not super heavy with waves. After that I took the Alder Trail hike up to Shoodic Head and then followed that trail down to the Anvil.
It was a great hike with some really awesome views. Lots of bedrock hopping and rock climbing. The smells of the wet forest, the cranberries and the ocean mixed to make a wonderful scent.
After that adventure I wrapped back around to the Point and it was er but nothing super impressive. I guess I just picked the wrong day.a bit strong
Dinner was at Geddys. Mini lobster bake. A small lobste wr rollhich was good with cold sweet potato fries and somewhat cold chowder. This was by far the worst dinner I have had on the trip.
