Day 16 - Day 2 at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

 Today was a fun and emotional day all in one. First let me say as a pet owner all my life visiting Best Friends was one of the best things I have ever done. It was an amazing experience helping them out the past two days. Today I got to hang out with two amazing dogs. Wandered around and got some pictures of some animals and walked to Angel's overlook and had a chat with my angel Kali. Let me tell you this play is pure magic. These animals get so much love and care. I just can not say enough.

Skyline and Chili blessed me with their presence today and they were the sweetest!





As their motto here says, Save Them All


After that there were some animal sightings where I managed to get a few neat pictures.


This little one and his parents(?) were hiding from the sun along the red cliffs in the Canyon munching on their dinner, 


This cutie is Petunia, a kune kune pig mix who has special needs. She cant use her back legs but while I stood and took pictures she was as mobile as could be finding herself stuff to shove her nose into.

Then I took a little walk . . Angels Overlook. It towers above the canyon up along the walls and looks down upon Angel's Rest.  As a dog person , and one who lost a pet of 15 years a just before the pandemic. This day had special meaning as I walked the mile hike to the overlook. Looked out over everything. Took it all in and then walked the Labyrinth.
