Day 4 Mesa Verde Cliff Palace Twilight Tour

This was such an extraordinary tour. I had originally purchased two tickets, one in case Cara could make it. But she could not. So a lucky wandering old man got a ticket after the ranger told him he couldnt go because he hadnt bought one.  So that worked out. The tour itself was amazing and I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves. Eighty percent of the dwelling is original. The second worst part of this day was the end, we didnt get done till 8 and it rained like crazy. Driving off the Mesa in the dark in rain and then being late to the KOA meant setting up fast in the dark.  It was a mess. But it was a great tour. Here are some of the pics. Also i was the last tourist to come out of the Cliff Palace for the Season. At least the twilight tour.
